AHP-RAPS Approach for Evaluating the Productivity of Engineering Departments at a Public University

Education is an essential component for nations preparing to take advantage of the opportunities and confront challenges 21st century. Universities, colleges, research centers must work effectively efficiently achieve maximum results. In order provide a comparable verifiable evaluation such institutions’ efforts, administrators need adopt measurement tools as those offered by multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM). The use MCDM solve complex real-world problems in educational sector has dramatically increased past decade. This paper ranked Engineering departments public university from 2019 2021 using combined methods between Analytical Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) Ranking Alternatives Perimeter Similarity (RAPS). AHP technique assisted weighting each criterion covered this study. RAPS ranking weights derived technique. For first time, presented paper. findings revealed some under investigation’s vulnerabilities, indicating that they require assistance institution’s administration. Moreover, results demonstrate combining techniques evaluate rank successful method.
